James M. Dallas is the President and Chief Executive Officer of DALLAS

SECURITY, INC. [Dallas] and DSI INVESTIGATIONS in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1981, Dallas Security provides various security and loss prevention services and systems to businesses and institutions in the Delaware Valley. DSI Investigations provides a variety of civil and criminal investigative services and a complete background investigation service to corporate and legal clients throughout the country. From 1971 to 1981, he was the Operations Manager for a regional agency and an international security firm with responsibilities for clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Mr. Dallas has over 35 years management experience in the fields of security and investigation. From 1990-1995, he was a partner in the Strategic Consortium International, Risk Assessment and Asset Protection Specialists which was a marketing group of eight of the top security and investigation experts in the U.S.

He is a compensated auditor of the Certification Program of the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID) and has been appointed a member of its Certification Review Board.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:

Mr. Dallas has been a member of ASIS International (formerly The American Society for Industrial Security), the largest association of security professionals since 1976, and served as a member of the National Standing Committee on Investigations for ten years and as its Chairman in 1998.

He is also a member of, or is affiliated with, the Pennsylvania Association of Licensed Investigators (PALI); the Pennsylvania Burglar and Fire Alarm Association; The Pennsylvania Private Security Task Force; The Southeast Pennsylvania Police Chief's Association; The Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association; The Philadelphia Hotel Security Director's Association; The National Council of Investigative and Security Services (NCISS); the World Association of Professional Investigators' Forum (WAPI) and the American College of Forensic Examiners International.

He was a member of the Board of Governors of the Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration Academy of the Philadelphia Public School District (1998 - 2004).

In 1989, Mr. Dallas was elected to the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of the Citizens Crime Commission of the Delaware Valley and served on its Executive Committee for four years as the Vice Chairman of all of the suburban county chapters of this criminal justice watchdog organization.

He is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

PUBLICATIONS:

He is a regular provider of security related articles in two national trade publications, Security (Cahners, Des Plaines, Il.) and Risk Management Advisor (BBP, Waterford, Ct.) and has written more than 10 articles

In 1991, he co-authored the book "Security Investigations: Basic Guideline", (ASIS). In 1994, he wrote and co-produced an educational video in Dallas, TX, on personal security and safety for foreign visitors to the U.S. , "Safety While Traveling in the United States", (Professional Security Television Network). He has lectured at local universities (St. Joseph's University and West Chester University of Pennsylvania) on Physical Security Systems and Guard Force Management.
